Soquel High School,
401 Old San Jose Rd, Soquel, CA
In order to participate in the event, you must register at the Contest Booth on the day of the festival. The festival registration fee is $10.00 per dog. A goodie bag and five tickets are available to the first 500 registered dogs.
Proceeds from the event go to the
C-DOG Angel Fund
"working with the community to help dogs in need."
Canine Costume Parade Prizes
(1) Best Woofstock Hippie
(2) Best Woofstock Magic Bus wagon/stroller float
(3) Best Child & Dog Duo
Winners of the Costume Parade are eligible to participate in the Best in Show Awards. Awards will presented on the C-DOG podiums after the parade. Awards will be posted on the C-DOG website.
Costume Awards Criterion
- Showmanship
- Use of award theme "Woofstock West"
- Humor, originality, design & color
- Tasteful and creative presentation
- Custom costumes are preferred over store-bought costumes.
Rules
- Entrants must have one ticket per dog and one wristband on each dog's handler to participate.
- Entrant must register at the C-DOG Contest Booth
- Entrants must fill out a card with name, email address and phone clearly written if you would like the MC to announce your dog and to be included in our winners' publicity.
- The judges decisions are final.
- Participant number must be visible to the judges.
- No motorized vehicles are allowed.
- No entrant is eligible for more than one award.
Photography
Photographers will be set up at the event taking pictures of the winners and random photos of the dogs attending the event. Please check our website seven days after the event to see if your dogs photos are included in our album.
Publicity
Winners will be included in our post event coverage press releases and on our website.
